Economics Professor Dr. Serkan Catma joins Academy

The Carnegie Academy is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Serkan Catma, an economics professor at University South Carolina - Beaufort to the Fellowship. Dr. Catma is an accomplished classroom and research professor with an MBA and PhD in Economics from West Virginia University. Dr. Catma started his academic career at West Liberty University in West Virginia, in 2007 before coming to USCB in 2015. His research agenda includes a focus on Economics of Higher Education with additional research in Environmental Economics, and Health Economics in which he has conducted regional economic impact and public policy studies.
